What is a certified GREEN moving company?

Moving Mountain Logistics, Inc. was awarded a ‘Marin Green Business Certificate of Compliance’ by the Marin County Board of Supervisors, at the Marin County Civic Center, on August 14th, 2007, for outstanding efforts to reduce pollution & solid waste while conserving water, energy and other natural resources.

The following is a prepared statement by the Green Business Program stating the required principles committed to by all green businesses:

We believe a successful business is dependent upon a healthy environment. We are actively working to show our environmental responsibility to our community by committing to the following objectives: 1) Comply with all applicable environmental regulations; 2) Conserve energy, water and other natural resources; 3) Implement practices that prevent pollution and waste; 4) Be an environmentally responsible business in our community.

Specifically, Moving Mountain Logistics, Inc. does many things to keep our environment healthy. Here are just a few: 1) We reuse wardrobe boxes and cartons, paper, and other materials; 2) We donate unwanted items to donation facilities around the Bay Area; 3) We recycle; 4) We promote green business practices to other business; 5) We are active in participating with consultants to lead our industry with cutting edge green technologies.
